Akibahal is a 150-year-old house located in Patan, Lalitpur, along Akhibahal Marg. The house is built around a central courtyard, around which its various functions are organized. The ground floor hosts semi-public spaces and includes a horse stable. One of the most striking features of the house is its intricately ornamented windows. This house was documented in terms of its structure, layout and present condition post the earthquake. Additionally, the detailed ornamentation of its windows and jaalis was documented.
