This home is designed for a structural engineer and his family in Mangalore, Karnataka. The layout centers around a courtyard that overlooks the backyard, facilitating a smooth transition between the indoors and outdoors, with activities from the living room, entrance, and dining area seamlessly flowing into the space. This design promotes ample sunlight and natural ventilation. Traditional elements, such as jaali walls, are incorporated to enhance cross ventilation. The project is built using CSE blocks and features filler slabs.
